What Temperance means at Wizard's

Temperance is restraint under pressure. Automotive and RV work creates constant temptation to rush, guess, over-correct, or replace a component before the evidence earns that decision. We deliberately resist that pressure.

From principle to the bay

How it translates to our work

  • Do not fire the parts cannon at an uncertain diagnosis.
  • Pause when the mental map is incomplete or contradictory.
  • Choose the least invasive reliable test or repair path that answers the question.
  • Do not oversell work simply because a vehicle is already in the bay.
  • Use checklists, verification, and second looks where human error is most likely.
High Reliability Organization

Temperance is part of our reliability system.

HRO connection: Temperance reinforces reluctance to simplify and preoccupation with failure. Slowing down at the right moment prevents a small assumption from becoming a large failure.

The Five Virtues

One standard. Five disciplines.

Proof before parts.

Our virtues are not slogans. They are expectations for how we diagnose, communicate, repair and verify.
